INCHES Healthcare Pvt Ltd - was formed in 1996 with the aim of providing innovative Healthcare services to the corporate world with main interest in the field of Healthcare. The services were focused and giving the corporate world " VALUE FOR MONEY " both where either an image in society was concerned or accountability and quality audit of service was concerned.
Highlights of the activities of INCHES Healthcare Pvt Ltd:
- INCHES successfully operated Apollo Hospital Information Centre for a period of 8 months to market their cardiac and neuro surgery services in Mumbai and was actively involved in suggesting consultants for Apollo Clinic at Mumbai.
- Arranged CME / Seminar on a turn key basis for -
a. Bombay Orthopedic Society - for Orthopedic surgeons.
b. Apollo Cancer Hospitals - for Neurologists & Neurosurgeons.
c. SmithKline Beecham - for Family Physicians and also for Pregnant ladies.
d. Produced two video teaching films for Endoscopy department at Bhatia General Hospital. - Setting up and monitoring a countrywide panel of Medical examiners/ diagnostic centers for ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co Ltd who have been selected with true reporting in mind. This involved identifying, recruiting, training, reprimanding and removal (if necessary). First group where ICICI Prudential Life Insurance permitted the use of Company logo on the visiting card as Business Associates. INCHES Healthcare Pvt Ltd has an exclusivity agreement with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance as regards Life Insurance.
- Providing underwriting inputs to ICICI Lombard for travel related policies. INCHES has panel of Generalists, Specialists and Super Specialists, well versed with underwriting and post hospitalization claim audit of bills.
- Invited by Reliance Industry in 1997 for giving a presentation to several directors including Mr Satish Seth, Mr Bhende and Dr Shanbagh among others. Reliance was then interested in learning more about INCHES plan for Managed Health Care in India.
- INCHES Healthcare Pvt Ltd has conducted a survey to gauge expectations of Indians in Health Insurance (in 1996). With only 2% population having Health Insurance the findings gave true insights into why, inspite of being riddled with huge bills, people do not opt for Health Insurance. Another survey was conducted to understand Doctors' willingness to work within guidelines and be accountable.
